TIMBER RIGDE IN EUREKA AND NOW IN MCKINLEYVILLE OFFERS THREE LEVELS OF SENIOR ASSISTED LIVING
Timber Ridge provides three types of assisted living environments each designed to meet varying senior needs in a way that supports their level of independance and while promoting individual dignity and self-esteem.
TIMBER RIDGE ASSISTED LIVING RESIDENCE APARTMENTS
The second is the Timber Ridge Assisted Living Residence (located in Eureka, California and we are proud of our new facility in McKinleyville, California). These facilities offer residents a choice of five types of apartment living. Married couples may choose from a variety of one- or two- room facilities. Some have small kitchenettes but all residents are eligble to utilize our full dining facilities.
All rooms are private with individual heating and cooling thermostats, cable hookups, telephone jacks and spacious closets. All rooms meet American Hospital Association (AHA) standards. Bathrooms are large and are equipped with modern safety devices. All of our apartments have windows for our residents' enjoyment. Here too the emphasis is on assisting a senior to enjoy the dignity of independent while enjoying assistance with the things they now need help with (dressing, bathing, medications, etc.).
TIMBER RIDGE RENAISSANCE SPECIAL CARE SETTING FOR SENIORS WITH ALZHEIMERS AND DEMENTIAS
The third is Timber Ridge Renaissance, this special care setting focuses on individualized care of seniors with Alzheimer's and memory-related disorders. We realize that the effects of this disease can be devastating not only to the individual but also to their families and friends. Renaissance provides a new beginning for our residents where they participate in therapeutic and restorative activities, retain their dignity and enjoy day-to-day living. Renaissance also provides new beginnings for families who gain peace of mind through knowing that their loved one is safe, their care is based on individual needs and their environment is positive, nurturing and respects their individuality.
